Dr. Renato Aldo Vanotti-Feliciano, founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Born on April 12, 1962 in Glarus and citizen of Bilten (GL) and Berbenno di Valtellina (Italy). Vanotti-Feliciano grew up in Lachen by Lake Zurich, is married to Cynthia Feliciano and is the father of Marco (1984) and Alexia (2006).
He completed his training as a bank clerk with the Schweizerischer Bankverein in 1980 and afterwards acquired a fiduciary diploma at the AKAD Business School in Zurich and a PhD in economics at the university in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Before founding HNW Capital Management AG, headquartered in Rapperswil, and its holding company in 1996, he worked in the operational sector of three foreign banks in Zurich until 1988 and then as the head of private banking, as well as acting as an advisor to the chairman of a large bank in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia during 1987/88.
His interests include spending time with his little family, Cynthia & Alexia, as well as skiing in winter and swimming in summer, reading, art and architecture, mechanical clocks, and music, particularly bossa nova, in connection with which he helps organize concerts by Brazilian artists in Switzerland.
